Be2Camp

Exploring Web 2.0 in the built environment

Be2camp East

Inspired by previous Be2camp events, Be2camp East was held at Essex County Cricket Club in Chelmsford, Essex, on the afternoon of Thursday 29 April 2010.

Building on the success of SMWBe2camp, this half-day event also aimed to help people understand more about Web 2.0 applications for people working in the built environment, from architects to property people to construction marketeers.

Venue: Essex County Cricket Ground-Pavilion Suite

It was held in the Pavilion at Essex CCC. The room is large enough for 100, has excellent Wifi (once we got it working!), a bar a view of the cricket pitch, and parking and is just a short walk from the main railway station in central Chelmsford. Click here for map, directions and Google map from the Essex CCC website, or check out the Google map.

Our Charity Appeal

Be2CampEast is supporting the EACH Treehouse charity appeal, which is attempting to raise £3 million before Christmas 2010 to build a hospice for life-threatened children in Essex and Suffolk. A speaker from the project spoke at Be2campEast, and if you would like to donate to the hospice, just click on the picture- it will take you though to the official page for donations.
